Harman successfully relocates production with iO Partners’ support

Harman successfully relocated with the expert guidance of iO Partners, securing a modern, high-quality space.

Challenge

Having outgrown its former location, audio electronics company Harman decided to move a portion of its production line into a new facility in a nearby city. iO Partners was appointed to help address this challenge and identify a suitable new location with favourable commercial terms and conditions for the company.

Approach

Taking an advisory role, iO Partners was integral in helping Harman navigate the relocation process. Things were kicked off with a full market analysis and due diligence on shortlisted sites. A Request for Information (RFI) and a Request for Proposal (RFP) were created and issued to relevant landlords and developers. The team worked diligently to negotiate the best lease terms and supervised the preparation of the lease contract.

Results

Despite the tight timeline the iO Partners team was operating in, Harman was able to secure a new production space in a Category A building. The team was involved in the lease agreement and also rendered Project Development services and managed the fit-out of the new property.
